The Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established
not just to be another school to teach acupuncture, but to emphasize
the traditional and classical understanding of Chinese medicine.
TCTCM has traditionally been one of the few acupuncture programs to
teach from the classics such as the Shang Han Lun, Golden Chamber
and Four Streams of Scholars, which gives students a solid
foundation in classical Traditional Chinese Medicine. With this
foundation, many aspects of natural healing are integrated,
including acupuncture, diagnosis, herbology, qigong and tuina.
